Sydney C. Ashour is an Associate Attorney at Staubus Blankenship Legere Walker, PLLC. Her practice focuses on probate, guardianship, and trust litigation, as well as estate administration and the probate of wills. Sydney approaches each matter with compassion and a solutions-oriented mindset, helping clients navigate difficult transitions with clarity and care.
Before joining the firm, Sydney earned her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where she was awarded the Dallas Bar Foundation Hon. Nikki DeShazo (Ret.) and Edward V. Smith III Probate Clerkship in Dallas County Probate Court No. 2 with the Hon. Ingrid Warren. She also served as the student liaison to the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers (DAYL) Executive Board.
A former special education teacher in Dallas, Sydney brings a unique perspective grounded in empathy and advocacy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA and a master’s degree in Special Education from Texas Woman’s University. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, traveling, and hiking.
